Ideally, Stakeholder Dialogues envisage the attainment of a practical outcome that could not have been achieved without the dialogue.  Decisions taken or plans made can be implemented more easily because all stakeholders involved can see the ‘bigger picture’ of the issue at stake. This builds their ownership and commitment for achieving the results the process targets. High-quality Stakeholder Dialogues create a climate of trust, collective intelligence and joint action. When they are based on recognizing diverse opinions and consensus-building processes, they can lead to improved implementation of initiatives, projects, or change endeavors:
